I applied for the IB Fasttrack programme at HU University of applied sciences Utrecht because of the multinational working environment and the internship possibilities. I believe, that being able to understand and communicate with people from all over the world is a crucial experience to have. In addition, working with a variety of ambitious students from different cultural backgrounds develops your problem-solving skills. Furthermore, internships are a great way to gain some real-world work experience and build a strong base and a head-start for your professional career. Overall, the IB programme is very comprehensive and general, providing a decent introduction to the business-related subjects, work ethics and environment.
Starting your studies abroad may be frightening at first. But the introduction programmes, for instance the Buddy programme, helps you to get around the city, find new friends and offers help regarding any question. This has made my arrival at the Netherlands and HU really enjoyable and easy. Dutch people are very polite and supportive of expats, and the best thing is that the great majority of Dutch people have a proficient level of English. Therefore, the warm and friendly Dutch people make the Netherlands a great place to study.

The programme International Business at the HU is a truly international and inspiring programme. Working on real-life case studies helps me to understand the various aspects of business such as marketing, finance and logistics.
After my graduation I want to work in a big and international company in The Netherlands. The IB programme helps me to prepare for the future by offering internships. I will be able to apply the knowledge that I gained and develop my professional skills further.
