Teacher Education in English is a 4 year programme in an international setting. Towards the end of your 2nd year, you will spend 10 weeks soaking up Culture and Speaking skills in an English Speaking country. We want to inspire you to become a great English teacher and an inspiration to your students. After studying for a semester, you will be in a school or college to start your work placement as part of your training. As your work placement will be in a Dutch speaking environment, you will be expected to have a Dutch level CEFR A2 towards the end of your second year. We offer Dutch classes during your first year as well as a Dutch minor in years 2 and 3. About 60% of your teachers are native English speakers. All this makes for a truly international programme, preparing you for an exciting career.
