Do you want to speak and write German at 'near-native' level? After completing our part-time Teacher Education in German Master programme, the German language and culture won't hold any secrets for you! Moreover, you'll have acquired a critical approach to education and its developing future.
Master Teacher Education in German: two students working

This master programme prepares you to teach German language and literature to the higher classes of Dutch higher secondary and tertiary education (HAVO, VWO and HBO in Dutch). Instead of spending a great deal of time in-class, you will be spending most of your time teaching teens and young adults at the school where you work. The combination of one day a week at HU, and the rest of the week actually teaching is ideal.
