Spanish is truly a global language with over 400 million native speakers. As we travel more and more – for work and leisure – the language is becoming increasingly important. Do you speak Spanish and would you like to teach it to others? Then our Teacher Education in Spanish programme is for you!

Teacher Education in Spanish is a four-year programme in an international setting that joins our successful international Language Education programmes for English and German, as well as French. You will be taught in English and Spanish by our experienced lecturers and get to enjoy Utrecht's vibrant student life. You will have frequent and intensive contact with the Spanish-speaking world, even spending three months there in year 2. Internships at Dutch schools are also a vital and highly educational part of the programme.
