Admission Procedure

The Admission consists of several parts. Below we give you a bit more information but you will receive the specific information and details on how to prepare once you have applied via Studielink.

  • A motivation letter
The motivation letter is an application letter for an imaginary job. In this letter you will explain how the master programme prepared you to be the perfect candidate for this job. You will receive specific information for it, so don’t start writing it before you have received the assignment.
  • An analytical test
This test is meant to find out if you have the required basic mathematical and statistics knowledge for this Master. You will receive study material to prepare for this online test.
  • An intake interview
In this interview we intend to see the whole picture: what is your motivation, and do you have the necessary skills? It is also a possibility for you to ask questions.

After all the required parts of the Admission Procedure we will give you an advice to apply or not to apply for this master.

Please contact coördinator Thirza de Weerd for more information via masternle@hu.nl

The two day introduction in the last week of August is mandatory. During this introduction you will get to know the team of teachers and your fellow students. Also, you will learn more about studying at the Hogeschool Utrecht, the systems and the programme. Dates will soon to be announced.
