The Dutch organization Stichting Urgenda organizes each year the Dutch Day of Sustainability. Urgenda's goal is to make the Netherlands as sustainable as possible in practice during a period of half a century.
The Utrecht Sustainability Day is a joint initiative of Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, Province of Utrecht, City of Utrecht, Utrecht Science Park and the Utrecht Sustainability Institute.
